Wetsuits
Wetsuits are a diver’s primary exposure protection while in the water and on the dive boat. Water conducts heat away from the diver 20 times faster than air, which is why even in 85 degree water, a diver will still get cold during the dive. A wetsuit is designed to retain body heat better by trapping a thin layer of water inside the suit and allowing it to heat.
Wetsuits are available in multiple styles, colors, and thicknesses. A diver may opt for a thin, shorty wetsuit in warmer water, while they may opt for a thick full wetsuit in cooler water. Check out the options below to find a suit that will work for your specific diving situation.
